City Beach

Before its upgrade, City Beach had a mixture of phone systems from Telstra, Ericsson and NEC that were expensive to operate. When the time came to refresh its national communications network, City Beach wanted to simplify its complex voice communication infrastructure and reduce its bills. It wanted a platform that could support its plans for growth.

City Beach selected an Avaya IP Office solution which CTI deployed into the City Beach Data Centre, with a redundant server residing in a secondary location. CTI deployed Power over Ethernet Switches and IP phones to all stores around Australia. In the second phase of the project, the IP Office Contact Centre was turned on, which has helped increase service levels and meant City Beach stays ahead of the competition.

The centralisation of phone lines and a common dial plan encompassing all staff and locations has contributed massively to the return on investment. Not having all the individual phone systems to maintain and manage saves City Beach both time and money.
